The client

Having a good product, excellence in know-how and consistent values as a company are the basis of a solid brand. But today, at the branding level, we must go further, because in the current digital context, companies also have to be able to develop a communication strategy that connects them with their audiences. Skandia Ahumados is a company from Malaga specialized in high-quality smoked fish, with an impeccable history, processes and product. But it was not being able to build its own narrative that, in turn, generated interest and community around its products, specifically in the field of digital communication.

The project

The first thing we did was an exhaustive analysis to identify the strengths, gaps and communication opportunities of Skandia Ahumados, both at the level of company culture and processes and products. With this map, we defined the style and voice that its narrative would adopt and established a content strategy. In parallel, we proposed an art direction that would provide the brand with a distinctive, fresh and global image, taking charge of the production of all the necessary pieces for social networks and other digital environments.

Implantation

The narrative style that we defined sought to connect with potential audiences and consumers through attractive and engaging content, which, at the same time, could also be inspiring and poetic. On the one hand, it was important that they make known the company's commitment to sustainability and their know-how as master smokers. On the other hand, they had to be a vehicle to generate community through advice, ideas and recipes based on their products.

To achieve this, over time we have been creating pieces with different styles and themes, but within a brand personality and a very specific tone of voice. From gastronomic proposals, with own recipes and photographs, to specific content that reinforces the company's connection with those latitudes traditionally linked to the production of smoked products and their consumption; Inspiring images and videos, about the fishing or smoking process, but also about landscapes or natural environments linked to their products; Pills that tell stories about the company or that relate it to events and anniversaries of interest on the calendar.

All of this created through photography, videos, clips and graphic compositions of our own production, which we accompany with a narrative with literary appeal, without commercial overtones. Creative and fresh formulas that are suggestive and appeal to emotions, fitting perfectly into social networks and digital environments.
